Determining beliefs in students of tenth and eleventh grades in partner schools in Bogota makes possible to understand the process of socialization of the family and behaviors that affect coexistence at school. Consequently, it is essential to identify conditions that help to articulate work between family and school, based on a mixed research method with descriptive-explanatory level of knowledge, using survey and interview to collect data, and simple statistics to distill information for analysis. The findings focus on beliefs about environment, family roles and communication, allowing to describe the reality of young people. The article then offers conclusions, suggestions, and recommendations for a joint relationship between family and school in the training of young students.
