This study discussed; Semantic fields in the lights of Al-salmi’s “Anwar Al Uqol”. The problem lies in the development of semantics, the breadth of its interests, the multiplicity of its mechanisms and the diversity of its discussions, until it has become an approach that deals with texts through study and analysis, to probe its depths and decipher its closures. Therefore, researchers differed in semantics in terms of their view of meaning, and this difference resulted in the emergence of several approaches and theories in the studies of meaning. The study aims to diagnose the semantic fields in Al-salmi’s Poetry, and to present the ideas and topics. The researcher followed the descriptive and analytical approach in tracing the techniques of the semantic approach. the study came in four sections, first: Definition of Imam Salmi. The second: the definition of his poem. Then the semantic level in this poetry, and finally: the semantic fields. The study reached several findings: Imam al-Salmi's circumstances did not discourage him from gaining knowledge and taking from scholars, for he lost his eyesight when he was twelve years old, and in spite of that he was moving between parts of Oman to obtain knowledge and sit with scholars. His poetry included a variety of topics, most notably: the significance of science and the effects of ignorance, loyalty and innocence and its divisions, repentance and the consequences of the penitent person, the use of semantic fields provided a clear vision of the ideas and issues that revealed the concerns of the Imam and his repeated attempts in Alert people to get back on the right path.
