This article presents a study on the transitional aspects of the Academic and Postgraduate Academic Science, Normal and Post-Normal science; Modern and Postmodern science and Science Mode 1 and Mode 2. Of the prospects that intend to describe the changes produced from the second half of the twentieth century, the scientific and technological research, in the the science notions that place as a central element of these processes a complex configuration of relations have been identified between universities, industries, government and society and in the ways of doing science in contexts named “new” and the prefix “post”. Science, in the same way that society, by its dynamic and continuous movement, comes in transition and, therefore, there are no changes in the scientific knowledge production
