The new institutionalism represented the return of the institutions at the center of social and political theory. However, even when it emphasizes the importance of informal rules, theoretical formulations about them continue as pending. It tracks for traces of a possible informal institu - tionalist discourse from theoretical research. The aim is to identify the components articulators of informal institutional discourse.
