The article is devoted to the formation of a cross-sector partnership model between the society, communities and donors according to the implementation of sustainable development projects for communities. Particular attention is paid to the financial aspects of the cross-sector partnership of the parties. The authors established the essence of the socio-ecological and economic responsibility of each of the stakeholders according to the proposed model, the stages of its implementation were also analyzed in the realization of a concrete project for the sustainable development of communities. The basic conditions for financial support for the implementation of projects for sustainable community development are determined taking into account the population and the level of socio-economic development of the regions To ensure the objectivity of evaluation of projects for sustainable community development, there were suggested the financial evaluation criteria and requirements for the content of regional development project proposals, which reflect the co-financing scheme of cross-sector partnership of key stakeholders. The authors concluded that financial support for sustainable development projects for communities has also increased, due to the communities budgets increasing as a result of the decentralization reform in Ukraine. And this, in turn, opened the possibility of attracting grant funds to finance projects of social, environmental and economic directions, taking into account the specific features and level of regional development of these areas, and secondly, it has intensified the participation of the society itself in constructive cooperation with local government authorities and donor funds to take concrete steps to ensure sustainable development of the regions.
