Drawing on literature from visual sociology, research ethics, children’s rights and literature on pedagogical documentation, this paper explores the ethical issues that arise for teachers as they become teacherresearchers of and with children through the process of pedagogical documentation, a form of making children’s learning visible through the use of photographic images and texts.
