the Convention. For Parties to the Convention depositing an instrument expressing consent to be bound after that date, the Amendment enters into force on the date of such deposit, in accordance with the same Article. For States depositing an instrument, or instruments, expressing consent to be bound by both the Convention and its Amendment at the same time, the Amendment enters into force on the date of entry into force of the Convention for such States, in line with the requirements of Article 20, paragraph 2, of the Convention.
