Comparando regímenes de bienestar en América Latina

Comparing social welfare systems in Latin America The present work develops the principal characteristics that the studies on Latin-Americans welfare regimens have. To do this, the paper makes an analysis of the various approaches in order to examine their contributions and limitations. Finally, the paper expresses the need to further explore the productive dimension that the Latin American welfare systems present.  Resumen:   En el presente trabajo se exponen las principales caracteristicas que comparten los estudios sobre regimenes de bienestar en America Latina. Para ello, se realiza un analisis de diversas contribuciones con el objeto de examinar sus aportes y limitaciones. Por ultimo, se expresa la necesidad de profundizar la dimension productiva que presentan los sistemas de bienestar social latinoamericanos.
