The purpose of this study is to analyze metaphorical perceptions of preparatory school students on preparatory school education. The study aims how the students conceptualize preparatory education through the metaphors. The study was held with 248 students at School of Foreign Languages of Dumlupınar University, Kutahya. The participants completed the prompt “ The preparatory school education is likebecause ” to indicate their conceptualizations of preparatory education. After the data of the study was collected, preparatory school students' metaphorical perceptions on education in 2013-2014 academic year were analyzed.
