In order to convert the information about biomedical sciences in a communicative and logical reporting me- chanism, we developed the following work, that to try to understand the logic under which journalists grab and distribute knowledge to readers, and how the last ones receive such knowledge. We worked with four categories of study that include: the field of "newsworthiness" and the field of "common sense" from the pers- pective of Alfred Schutz. The methodology used for this work was ethnographic, triangulating compression techniques such as the interview, with explanatory as survey techniques. Among the main conclusions are that the success of the work of journalists depends on the conversion of the "scientific sense" of researches into "common sense" of the audience. In order to do that, the journalists should build a "hybrid habit" that allows them to understand basic biomedical science as well as the "prescriptions" by which news are produced, regar- dless of their subject. With respect to social responsibility of researches, we suggest that for each indexed and supervised journal publication, they should publish a paper in a journal of public understanding of science.
