The purpose of this project was to design and build a Solar Tracking System from an electrical and mechanical perspective. The tracking system is equipped with automated battery charging circuit and switching capabilities for multiple batteries. The system can run a fully autonomous mode using photoresistor to track the sun ensuring optimal coverage. The popular ESP8266 Wi-Fi Module is interfaced with an Arduino Mega using its communications protocols for wireless control and monitoring of the system.
