Dorene Perez, Illinois Valley Community College Dorene Perez, Program Director/Instructor of CAD/CAE at IVCC, was one of the MIMIC project originators. Co-leader of the Tech Prep team, she has been recognized for her pioneering in the development of online courses. She is the PI for NSF grant #0501885 and is participating in an NSF-funded revision of the CAD program at Moraine Valley Community College. Before teaching, she served as a CAD manager in industry.
