This paper outlines the philosophic, policy, and management adjustments of an Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) program as it prepared to participate in TAC of ABET’s pilot study for outcomes-based assessment (TC2K). These changes included developing a set of policies supporting outcomes-based management of the EET program, along with appropriate goals and objectives. This paper will detail those items as well as note the difficulties and unsuccessful strategies encountered by the program.
