A law has been approved in France that prohibits mobile phones in schools except in some exceptional cases. This regulation aims to reinforce the existing ban since 2010. Then the legislator had foreseen that the telephone could be used with the exception of the cases in which it was prohibited. This proposal of the Government has generated an important polemic in France on how to apply this prohibition in practice and how to punish offenders.
