It is undeniable that the development of mobile communication technologies currently increasing, it can be seen from the growing number of telecommunications towers, especially in Palangka Raya. Telecommunications tower that is a supporting factor of mobile telecommunications services are constantly constructed as a form of community needs in communication. In the course of development of telecommunication towers must consider several general requirements as contained in the Circular of the Director General of Spatial Planning Ministry of Public Works No. 06/SE/Dr/2011 on Technical Guidelines Criteria Telecommunication Tower, which is one of the requirements is to have to pay attention to aspects aesthetic space. This study aims to calculate the required amount of Base Transceiver Station (BTS) as a form of early in the application development of telecommunications tower as the tower together. To achieve these objectives, the calculation of the number of mobile subscribers and traffic capacity into a method of planning is needed in determining the number of base stations and telecommunications towers together in a period of 5 (five) years. It is expected that this study may be the earliest reference to the government of Palangka Raya in making a plan or guideline in the development and licensing of telecommunications joint tower construction that will become a regulation of the telecommunications tower, so the construction of joint towers can be well ordered with regard to quality of service for community.
