This paper reviews the concept of one of the basic personality traits, ‘self-trust’, and describes a tool for measuring it — a questionnaire “A Technique for Exploring Self-Trust” developed by N.B. Astanina. The questionnaire was tested on a sample of adults. Analysis of validity and reliability showed satisfactory outcomes proving that the questionnaire can be applied in research. The research was conducted with the assistance of the Russian Foundation for Humanities (grant № 15-06-10508).
