This article describes special features of using computer technologies in psychodiagnostics. There is a description of native and foreign researches, in which the results of paper and computer versions of different testing methods were compared. Some specific factors in computer diagnostics which are necessary to consider while organizing and holding testing are reviewed. Computer diagnostic program greatly facilitates the process of testing and subsequent processing response test. Such advantage as instant calculation of results saves researcher`s time and gives opportunity to represent results of test to probationer very soon. Empirical research held by researchers of Urban Resource Center of Giftedness at the MSUPE(head Jurkiewicz V.S.), described in the article, represents comparison data of the results, received by 2 variants of methodical diagnosis of intellectual abilities «Standard Progressive Matrices Plus Raven» (classical and paper version) in one of pupil groups. Special factors in holding computer version of this method which are necessary to be noticed by a researcher for getting true results of diagnosis are analyzed.
