The article describes the features of the creative path of the outstanding psychologist-philologist N.V. Kasatkin, considered as a spiritually moral process of human communication. In his studies, the scientist studied monologic, dialogical speech and described their variants in a form opened by the interlocutor, singling out a particularly internal speech that turned out to be not socially isolated, but sociologized, internally communicative.
