The article features a subjective picture of the world of adults with substance dependence. We study the following characteristics of a subjective picture of the world: the image of the father and mother, the sovereignty of psychological space of representation and development factors. In the group with substance dependence (compared with the group without substance dependence) ideas about the father and the mother are painted as more negative; the integrity of the borders of psychological space is perceived as a violation; subjective picture of the world in the category of life outside the family presents less.
