YENİ BİR BELGEYE GÖRE XVII. YÜZYILIN SONUNDA RUMELİ DE KADILIK RÜTBELERİ

In this study, considering a new document that from its contents records which we think it belonged to the end of the 17th century, titles of judgeships in Rumelia and distribution of these titles to 379 towns that recorded here will be examined. Besides, compared with the arrangement of titles of judeships in Rumelia dated 1078 Hijri (1667-1668) that the most recent time to this period, showing the continuity of judgeships or changed titles and their causes will be evaluated. That system of titles have an important place in procedures of appointment and promotion of kadis and kadis continue their professional career gradually in these titles and finally there is no document except these two documents which contained titles of judgeshipin Rumelia dated 17th century both the importance and value of the document increases and the change provides an understanding of that will be spent in the next period.
