New glass matrices were evaluated for high dose dos ime try. The ir nomina l compos i t ion are 20Li2CO3.10Al2O3.10CdO.60B2O3 a n d 20Li2CO3.10Al2O3.15CdO.55B2O3 (mol%). The glass matrices were irradiated with different doses: 50, 100, 200, 500, 700 and 900 Gy, and analysed via the t h e r m o l u m i n e s c e n c e t e c h n i q u e . T h e thermoluminescence emission curves obtained showed a great potential of using these matrices in high dose dosimetry.
