OZET Davranis yonetimi, dental personelin cocuga etkili ve verimli bir sekilde tedavi uyguladigi ve ayni zamanda olumlu bir dental tutum olusturabildigi aractir. Cocuklarda dental anksiyete yogun ama durumsal ve gecici bir kaygi sistemidir. Cocuklarin endiseli ve kooperatif davranislarini yonetmek icin  bircok iletisimsel, ileri teknik gelistirilmistir. Bu makale, davranissal bir perspektiften, cocuk dis hekimleri icin guvence saglayan bircok teknigi aciklamaktadir. Onerilen yeni arastirmalar bu prosedurleri basit bir uygulama ile sunar,  teknikler ogrenmesi orta derece kolaylikta, maliyeti dusuk ve zaman tasarrufu saglar niteliktedir. Dis hekimi ile cocuklar arasindaki olumlu bir iliski, surekli degisen iletisim sirasinda olusur. Ilk hedef bu iliskinin her zaman olumlu kalmasidir.2015 AAPD davranis rehberinde yeni bir teknik olan ‘Ask-tell-ask’ tekniginden bahsedilmistir. Bu yeni teknigin cocuk dis hekimliginde davranis yonetimine rehberlik etmesi icin nasil kullanilabilecegine dikkat cekiliyor. Anahtar Kelimeler: cocuk davranisi, dental anksiyete, cocuk dis hekimligi Behaviour management in pediatric dentistry and ‘ask-tell-ask’ method ABSTRACT Behavior management is the means by which the dental health team effectively and efficiently performs treatment for a child and,  at the same time, evokes a positive dental attitude . Children's dental anxiety is an intense but situational and transient apprehension system. Several communicative, advanced interventions have been developed to manage children's anxious and cooperative behaviors. This paper explains many techniques that could offer dental professionals assurance from a behavioral science perception, Recent researches proposed these procedures can fit simply into regular practice, save cost efficient and time, and are moderately easy to find out. An affirmative relationship between the dentist and child is built during that changing communication. This first goal is to keep this relationship always positive.‘Ask-tell-ask’ new technique is mentioned in the 2015 AAPD guide line. It is pointed out how this new technique can be used to guide behaviour management in pediatric dentistry. Key Words: child behavior, dental anxiety, pediatric dentistry
