The Ozer Tukmens are Turkmen who are members of Bozok and Ucok Oguz clans that have been immigrated to Anatolia since the eleventh century. The Turkmen group who have maintained the migratory life style have been settled in Iskenderun, Payas, Dortyol and Arsuz zones. After the zone has being taken over by Ottomans, the Uzeyr principality has been founded bared on The Ozer Turkmen and the clan came from the Ozer family have been appointed as flagmen The Ozer Turkmen consist of Aleaddinlu, Cogun, Ordu-yi Ahmed Bey, Mikayillu and independet communities have some similar in the aspect of financial and clan structure to Turkmen groups in which Cukurova, Tarsus and Haleb.
