The aim of the study is to determine the acquisition level of values of fifth grade primary school students given in social studies curriculum. Survey model was used and the sample of the study consisted of 506 fifth grade student with randomly determined in 11 primary school in Erzincan, in 2009-2010 education year. Values Education Scale, developed by Keskin (2008) has been used in this study. The data was analyzed by SPSS. There are significant differences in the acquisition level of values of students in respect to gender, parent’s education level and program type that most watched on television.
