Iskender Pala is one of the precious author of the contemporary Turkish literature. Especially, with his historical novels, he has made important contributions to Turkish history and literature. The aim of this study is to determine and evaluate the historical interpretations of Iskender Pala, which take place in his novels and are related with New Historicism and Postmodernism
