This work focuses on the study of neurobiological profiles in terms of sexual orientation, in order to carefully evaluate the possible correlations between anatomical and physiological elements and sexual preferences, intended as a voluntary choice, position conditioned by biology or the environment, or by a set of factors. Neurobiological evidence, in tune with socio-cultural and political positions, underlines the need to consider clinical hypotheses related to not-heterosexual preferences, with a whole series of exceptions.
