Water may be polluted with several activities and this pollution is important especially for water-born creatures and use of water. The Balikligöl in Şanliurfa is a natural aquarium. Its water quality is deterioted by circum ferencal factors, which could damage the health of fishes in the water. As a result, fish deaths have been encountered from time to time in this lake. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the water quality of Şanliurfa Balikligöl. Samples were collected from entrance, middle and exit of the lake for two months intervals and various chemical parameters were analyzed. They were compared to the standard values and it was observed that they confirm well with standards. In the light of our previous physical analysis, it was concluded that the studies have to concentrate on bacteriological point of view.
