In a world that is experiences rapid globalization, logistics is a fundamental necessity for all organizations and an important factor affecting the firm’s performance. Logistics has been gradually progressing in Turkey and these developments in logistics directly affect the country’s economy. The market potential of logistics has been estimated about 120 billion dollars. Therefore, with this market share, logistics is one of the most popular sectors of Turkey’s economy. An important element of logistics is logistic villages. Expected performance in logistics can be improved by strengthening logistics villages which become heartland of sector. Strong- weakness and opportunities and threats about villages can be exhibited by analyzing of current situation of logistics village. In this way, it can be determined as the needs of the village and necessary steps will be taken. With this study, it is aimed to reveal the current situation and their importance on economy by analyzing two logistics villages (Halkali and Yenice). The research findings show that strengthening the logistics villages and the expansion of them will be important for the sector and the economy.
