The purpose of this study is to investigate exercise on women health. Therefore, related literature and following subjects were investigated: cardiovascular disease in women and exercise, pregnancy and exercise, obesity in women and exercise, psychological and mental health of women and exercise. Coronary heart diseases of women have the first place among diseases in Turkey and America. According to researches, pregnant women perform fewer exercises. According to the data of Ministry of Health, the rate of obesity in women is 41 percent in Turkey. According to a research conducted on women who participated in physical exercise in Turkey, the greatest contribution of exercise was found to be in psychology. Physical activity develops aerobic performance, cardiovascular endurance, muscular power and flexibility and body composition. In addition, physical activity reduces anxiety, increases self-confidence and self-esteem. In conclusion; exercise that is done three times a week (one day intervals) and in the period of 30-60 minutes contributes to a healthy heart, a healthy period of pregnancy, getting rid of excessive weight and makes positive contribution to psychological health of women
