Objective. To address the political participation and its strategic constructions in the public schools from Cordoba. Methodology. The work focuses on a qualitative study developed in the educational environment of the city of Cordoba, Argentina, linked to the topic of the youth participation in public schools. Results. The article focused on one of the chapters of the thesis that contributes specifically to the discipline of social work since it accounts for different strategies and their relationship with the construction of citizenship in this stage or life cycle of being a “High school student” in public schools located in neighborhoods of the city. Conclusions. It contributes to the discipline of social work since it accounts for multiple strategies in the construction of citizenship from the high schools perspective.
