Low anti-SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence among public sector employees in Bremen An epidemiological observational study was conducted in order to estimate seroprevalence (SARS-CoV-2 serology) among public sector employees in the state of Bremen by using an established ELISA test system. Those who took part were police officers, firefighters, rescue personnel, health workers and administrative staff who worked despite the lockdown and may have been in contact with COVID-19 infected individuals. The results show a small number of previously undiscovered cases (3/281) and, in addition, a low seroprevalence (2.1 %; 6/281) among public service employees. We believe this data is important for further research and for epidemiological purposes. It may also be useful for decision makers. Keywords: COVID-19 – virology – epidemiology – seroprevalence – unreported cases
