OZET : Dunyada bitkisel uretimi kisitlayan onemli faktorler su, yetisme periyodu ve gubrelemedir. Yetistiriciligi yapilan bitki turunden yuksek verim alinabilmesi icin erken ekim ve gubreleme kontrol edilebilen en onemli uygulamalardir. Tebriz Universitesi Arastirma Ciftliginde yurutulen bu calismanin amaci Mayis papatyasi bitkisinin farkli ekim zamani ve azot dozlarinin kuru cicek verimi, ucucu yag orani ve ucucu yag verimine etkilerini belirlemektir. Şansa bagli tam bloklar deneme deseninde faktoriyel duzenlemeye gore planlanan denemede uc ekim tarihi (30 Nisan, 10 ve 20 Mayis) ve dort azot dozu (0, 50, 100 ve 150 kg/ha N) incelenmistir. Ekim zamani ve azot dozu kuru cicek uretimi ile ucucu yag oranini onemli (p<0.05) olarak etkilemistir. Ucucu yag verimi uzerine ise yalnizca azot dozlari onemli olmustur. Mayis papatyasi kuru cicek ve ucucu yag uretimi icin 30 Nisanda 100 kg N/ha azot dozu ile ekilmelidir. ABSTRACT : The important factors that are limiting plant production are available water, growing period and fertilization in the word. The most important applications are early sowing and fertilization to be controlled for high production from growth plant species. The objective of this study, which was conducted at the Research Farm of Tebriz University, is to assess the effect of different sowing dates and nitrogen doses on dry flower yield, essential oil ratio and essential oil yield of Matricaria chamomilla. Three sowing dates (30 April, 10 and 20 May) and four doses of nitrogen (0, 50, 100 and 150 kg N/ha) were examined in a factorial arrangement of completely randomized blocks. Sowing date and nitrogen doses significantly affected dry flower yield and essential oil ratio (p<0.05). Essential oil yield was significantly affected by nitrogen doses. Matricaria chamomilla is should be sown at the 30 April with 100 kg N/ha nitrogen for dry flower and essential oil yield. Key Words: Matricaria chamomilla , sowing date, nitrogen fertilization
