La familia y el estado civil en la maternidad adolescente. Datos del Táchira (Venezuela) y Norte de Santander (Colombia)

Among diversity reasons of the teenage motherhood you can mention the marriage of the teenagers, gender inequality, sexual violence, impossibility to perform the rights; having the family by its functions an important role in the teenage motherhood. There are files attached to civil status of young mothers, the position of the family when they are joined or married and familiar relationships. Those files come from two researches did in the Táchira (Venezuela) and North of Santander (Colombia) they are compared descriptively. A survey was applied to representative result of 235 and 406 young mothers, as well. The findings show that in the Táchira 57,5 % of the young mothers who were interviewed live with their couple, and 3,7 % are married. In north of Santander case 44,6 % are young mothers who live without company, and 30,3 % are married, approving a difference between teenagers in both cases.
