Objective: To identify the domains of quality of life of nursing professionals who work in the surgical centers of four hospitals located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out with 125 nursing professionals, who work in the surgical center units of four hospitals of Rio Grande do Sul. Two questionnaires were applied with the aim of knowing the socio-demographic profile and identifying the domains of the most compromised quality of life; for analysis, frequency, mean and standard deviation were used for nominal variables and Sample T for samples independently. Pearson's correlation analysis was used to evaluate each domain. Results: The highest number of professionals were nursing technicians (80%), the most frequently attended area was the surgical unit (48.8%), the majority were women (81.6%).
