In the following article we shall explain how our experience as language teachers and our pedagogical concepts have informed the content design of an online revision tool for German grammar. In the first part we will outline the thinking behind the programme, including a short discussion of current trends in e-learning used for computer assisted language learning (CALL). In the second part we will describe how our work on this project has developed our ability to meet the specific requirements of e-learning language materials: how to get from paper based exercises to electronically implemented revision, or how to get from p-learning to e-learning.
