Five new species of Eichler, 1949 are described and illustrated from hosts in the Eurylaimidae and Calyptomenidae. They are n. sp. from Meyer de Schauensee, 1929 ; n. sp. from Raffles, 1822 ; n. sp. from Salvadori, 1874 and Meyer de Schauensee and Ripley, 1940 ; n. sp. from Swainson, 1838 ; and n. sp. from Sharpe, 1876 . These represent the first species of described from the Calyptomenidae and Eurylaimidae, as well as the first species of this genus described from the Old World suboscines.
