Tempo dos deuses, tempo dos homens: mito e história no político de Platão

O presente artigo realiza uma exegese do grande mito cósmico do Político de Platão, no intuito de mostrar que a representação da historicidade humana por ele alegoricamente elaborada ilustra e antecipa, em um registro simbólico, algumas das soluções teóricas exploradas pelo diálogo em sua conclusão a respeito das relações entre o melhor regime e a história. The present article interprets the great cosmic myth in Plato’s Stateman by showing that the representation of human historicity, allegorically elaborated in it, illustrates and anticipates, in a symbolic register, some of the theoretical solutions put forth by the dialogue in its conclusion, concerning the relations between the best regime and history
