International Shoe Co. v. State of Washington is an interesting and important decision of the Supreme Court of the United States in the field of procedure.' One of two main questions before the Court was the much discussed and litigated question of jurisdiction to render a personal judgment against a foreign corporation which has not been granted a license to do business in a state where suit has been instituted.2
