Economic assessment of the burden of statins in the treatment of acute coronary syndrome and stable angina and pharmacoeconomic analysis of statins use in patients with hyperlipidemia in terms of the health system of the Republic of Belarus has been performed. «Decision tree» model statins use has been constructed. The likelihood of achieving the target level of LDL cholesterol by statins prescription has been assesed. The «cost of illness» and «cost-minimization analysis» has been used. The expediency of rosuvastatin using in patients with hypercholesterolemia in terms of the health system of the Republic of Belarus has been established.
