The accession of the Baltic states to EU structures required a number of structural reforms, including labour market reforms. It should be noted that unemployment in these countries throughout the research period remained high. This condition was largely dependent on the macroeconomic situation of the particular country. An important role was also played by the migration factor. The aim of this paper is therefore to analyse the impact of the macroeconomic situation on the labour market in the Baltic states.
