Writing and reading are funda- mental learnings in the school years, and one of the most important challenges of the teachers.To do this you can use different methodologies, materials and resources among which are the mobile apps that can encourage children to learn to read and write simple, fun and interactive, allowing the kids start in this competency in a playful way.The teachers need to know these development, for instance the article analyze the operating system, business mo- dels, trends more significant, methodology, etc. and proposes a classification of the applications for the learning of reading and writing.
