Unfortunately, Islam is the most misunderstood religion.Islam is an Arabic word connoting peace, submission, surrender, and obedience to Allah . The religion of Islam is a religion whose texts are general, making it suitable for all times and places.Islam was not revealed for a specific race or class. The teachings of Islam render all people equal, giving no consideration to their sex, race, color, language, nation or location. All are equal in front of Allah. There are no prejudices in the religion of Islam, no difference between the rich and poor, noble and commoner, ruler and subject or white and black. Everyone is equal in relation to the implementation of Shari’ah law. They only differ in regards to their implementation of the religion of Allah in their lives.
