The geographic distribution of Dendropsophus rubicundulus includes Bolivia, Brazil (southeastern, central-west, northeastern and northern regions) and Paraguay. We report the second record of D. rubicundulus in Ceara state, increasing the distribution range of the species in northeastern Brazil.
