Eugenia brejoensis Mazine was previously known only from hinterland highland forests in the Caatinga Domain in Pernambuco, northeastern Brazil. Its occurrence is hereby expanded northwards and southwards, it being now recorded in hinterland highland forests in Paraiba and Alagoas, and in coastal forest in Sergipe and northern Espirito Santo. We also present additional information about phenological stages and complementary description of petals and fruits.
