The purpose of this research is to analyze safety problems and peculiarities of resource potential of tourism for disabled in Ukraine. Adaptive tourism is defined as a set of types and forms of tourism activities used to meet the needs of tourists with disabilities. Safety of tourism is considered as a state of operation in tourism industry of specific territory for a specified period of time characterized by the absence of threats as well as combination of tourism resources and infrastructure, which allows stable development of specific territorial recreation systems in the future. In order to analyze resource potential of tourism for disabled we have selected 1525 most attractive and suitable tourist sites from all regions of Ukraine. Selected tourist sites can be used to organize methodically correct routes of adaptive tourism, which are safe and convenient for tourist groups of the disabled. Thus, comparing regional differences in the proportion with the disabled population in the regions of Ukraine as well as localization of important tourist sites, it is possible to state the prospects of adaptive inter#regional domestic touri sm.
