Nowadays the LMSs are the main software tool for organizing and supporting contemporary e-learning. Cloud computing technologies are widely used not only for business purposes, but also in education area. There are lots of cloud-based Learning Management Systems, providing services for collaborating, evaluating and creating learning content. The aim of the current work is to research, evaluate and compare some of the cloudbased LMSs. A set of common criteria, used for LMSs, is implemented for estimating the advantages and disadvantages of cloud-based systems for e-learning.
