The present paper features a mathematical model of load capacity and static characteristics calculation of foil gas dynamic bearings with conical surfaces lubricated with cryogenic fluids based on equations of thermophysics, hydrodynamic and elasticity theory. Algorithmic model is presented. Original software is presented that is used to calculate load capacity and static characteristics of the bearings in question.
