Management of septic shock needs an appropriate and early treatment in order to improving outcome. By administering appropriate antibiotics in a timely fashion, removing possible sources of infection, practicing early goal-direct hemodynamic optimization, using lung-protective ventilation strategies, and judiciously using steroids and insulin therapy, the goal of reducing mortality from septic shock can be achieved.
