Electronic medication monitors (EMMs) are associated with decreased rescue inhaler use, symptom burden, and increased medication adherence in asthma. However, the use of EMMs in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) using the ELLIPTA dry powder inhaler has not been studied.
