Las cofradías en la formación religiosa y el control festivo en las parroquias de Galicia y el norte de Portugal en época moderna

In this article we analyze the paper of the confraternities in the pastoral tridentina as riverbed of transmission of the doctrine and mechanism of sacralizacion of the daily habits and of the rural calendar. We centre our study on the northwestern Galician territory and of the northwest of Portugal during the 18th century, paying attention to the similarities and differences that exist between both geographical spaces.
